Which policies?
We are able to provide valuations for a wide range of with-profits endowment policies.
A with-profits endowment policy is based on an agreement made with a Life Assurance company that states that, provided you meet any premiums as requested, you will receive an annually declared, accommodated bonus on top of the basic sum assured under the policy. The total amount will then be paid at a specified date in the future.

Which companies?
To ensure that we are able to offer your policy to a wide range of buyers and secure you the best deal possible, we take a 'whole of the market' approach to endowment selling rather than entering into exclusivity deals with specific buyers. As a result we are able to guarantee that any offer made will be higher than the current surrender value of your policy.
The demands of the endowment market change almost daily due to the varying requirements of those who purchase unwanted policies. For this reason we are unable to provide a definative list of all of the life companies that we deal with, however we list a few of the more recognisable companies below.
- Britannic
- Clerical Medical
- Cooperative Insurance
- Friends Provident
- General Accident
- Legal and General
- Liverpool Victoria
- Norwich union
- Pearl
- Prudential
- Royal London Mutual
- Scottish Amicable
- Scottish Provident
- Scottish Widows
- Standard Life
- Sun Life of Canada
- Wesleyan

Any offer make on an endowment policy will always be
higher than the surrender value!
Exclusions
Unfortunately we are unable to provide valuations for unit-linked endowment policies.
Unit-linked endowments are those for which the amount received on maturity of the policy is directly related to the performance of the units in an investment fund (e.g. units invested in the stock market).
You can find out whether your endowment policy is with-profits or unit-linked by checking the details on your annual statement. If there is any mention of units on the policy it is likely that you have a unit-linked endowment. However, if cash bonuses are detailed and shown added to the basic sum assured, you have a with-profits endowment policy.
